Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

Weatherization Services

TCCAP’s Weatherization Assistance Program provides repairs specifically designed to improve a home’s energy efficiency, comfort, and safety, while also helping to reduce energy costs. Utilizing the most up to date building science technology, an energy audit is conducted to help target the most important energy efficiency measures. Typical energy efficiency retrofits may be furnace repair or replacement, attic and/or wall insulation, air sealing, and ventilation. Energy repairs and upgrades are then completed as needed without cost to homeowners. Priority is given to the elderly, people with disabilities, and families with young children. We serve Crow Wing, Morrison and Todd Counties for weatherization. Applicants must receive energy assistance.

Contractor's Needed - RFP's

Tri-County Action Program, Inc. has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) seeking applications from qualified mechanical and residential general contractors who meet the qualifications for placement on the TCCAP Weatherization Contract register. Contractors determined to be qualified and who accept services agreements will be placed on the register and be eligible to bid and compete for projects to provide Weatherization Services to Income Eligible Households in Crow Wing, Morrison, and Todd counties.
