TCCAP would like to share success stories highlighting the ways in which our staff and programs empower families and individuals in Crow Wing, Morrison, and Todd Counties. These stories document how community action can support and uplift our neighbors on their journey toward greater self-sufficiency.

Head Start Heroes is an annual event that honors members of the Minnesota Head Start community who overcame tremendous challenges and achieved personal and family success.

Community Services staff provide participants with options to help solve their emergency food, shelter, health, housing, transportation, and tax preparation issues.

2023Year of Impact

2020:
Shannon, her husband and three children were living in inadequate housing. Her family was a recipient of a Habitat for Humanity home.

2019:
Jerome, John and Mary reflect some of the diverse participants who have been helped by the Community Services Department.

TCCAP Weatherization program is expanding its services to renters, who currently represent 18% of those served. Increased focus on multifamily and renter initiatives id driving production and delivering essential support to the community’s most vulnerable residents.
